Family Bridge Program
A free program for South Boston families ready to set and achieve goals—together. Now recruiting!
Do you dream of creating more opportunity for your children?
Join the Family Bridge Program, a new EMPath program for South Boston families looking to achieve economic self-sufficiency. With the support and guidance of a personal mentor, you and your children will set goals across all areas of life — employment, education, finances, family stability, and well-being — and work to achieve them step by step.
Mentors will use EMPath’s Child Bridge to a Brighter Future™ tool to help your children think about the future and set goals for the entire family. Participating families also have the opportunity to earn cash incentives!
Mentors will meet with you either in your home or at the Tierney Learning Center.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have legal dependents under 18 who live with you
- Meet HUD income eligibility guidelines
- Have legal status to work in the US
- Be interested in setting goals related to your family stability, well-being, finances, education, and career
