The Boston Business Journal has announced this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees, who make up the Boston area’s young professionals who are achieving the most in their careers and giving the most to the community.

The 2022 group includes a dozen CEOs and even more who’ve founded the companies they help run or nonprofit entities to which they’ve given much of their additional time. The honorees range from technology and health care to cannabis and government, and at least five are immigrants or children of immigrants.

A 40 Under 40 Awards celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Boston Park Plaza.

Honorees include those working in for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors as well as at private companies. They were chosen by the Boston Business Journal editorial staff from 240 nominations. Readers can learn more about the honoree’s stories in an upcoming special supplement of the Business Journal.
