EMPath's Outcomes Workgroup was formed as a way to network with nonprofit colleagues who share a commitment to the outcomes process. This network of colleagues learns together by sharing challenges, successes, data collection methods, reporting techniques, approaches to quality assurance, strategies to develop an outcomes culture, and other key issues.
Join us Thursday, June 13, 2019 as we learn from Will Pfeffer and Riley Tucker of the The Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI).
The Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) will be leading a training workshop on the Boston Data Portal, an online platform where visitors of all experience levels can browse, map, analyze, and download a variety of data describing the people, places, and neighborhoods of Boston.
This training will help attendees:
Learn more about the communities you serve;
Support the goals of the communities you serve; and
Promote informed advocacy centered on your particular goals.
Will Pfeffer is the Boston Area Research Initiative’s Program Coordinator, working with BARI’s directors and research team to do community outreach and trainings, communications, events, and more.
Riley Tucker is a Criminology Ph.D. student who serves as a research assistant and the Data Consultant at the Boston Area Research Initiative.
