As a summer unlike any others comes to a close, we turn our attention to the fall, and to the future. It’s a critical time for the families, workers, and children of this country, and as we seek to make this world a more equitable place, we’re excited to come together in October at our biennial conference.

This year, like so many events, our Disrupting the Poverty Cycle Conference is going virtual! With panels, workshops, live Q&As, and happy hours, attendees will have a chance to connect with speakers as well as with each other over the course of four afternoons October 6-9. We’re gathering authors, professors, and housing, education, and non-profit professionals, and arranging a diverse line-up of content and networking opportunities for guests to connect from afar.

Prior to the conference on Friday, October 2 and Monday, October 5, organizations from around the country - and a few from around the globe - will gather virtually for workshops, panels, and roundtables at our Exchange Member Convening.

“We can’t wait to reconvene virtually this October to discuss strategies for supporting our communities gain economic mobility,” said Beth Babcock, EMPath President & CEO. “The world has changed a great deal since we last connected in 2018, and it will surely change again between now and 2022. This conference will be full of collaboration, dedication, and empowerment from our wonderful speakers, panelists, and attendees.”

So, will we see you there?
