What boundaries have you put in place that are helpful?

  • Team created and shared schedule of when people are working remotely vs. in the office and their work hours
  • Set routines to differentiate work time and home time
  • Make a daily schedule with family (include time together in the schedule!)
  • Team established expectation to not send anything before 8 am, not expect immediate responses (but have a policy of responding within 24 hours)
  • Clear communication with people in the same house to respect each other’s workspaces and meeting times
  • Working more split shifts to manage childcare
  • Keeping to the same schedule as if working in the office and physically leaving the workspace for breaks and lunch

How are you setting boundaries with your family for self-care?

  • Setting expectations to check-in with each other before/after meetings
