The Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester, a member of EMPath’s global learning network, appeared on CBS Boston’s “4 Your Community” segment to discuss their LIFT Program (Lifting Individuals and Families Together). The goal of the program is to “help [families] build the foundation that they need to lift themselves out of poverty,” said Rosa Shouder, director of the LIFT Program. “We partner with EMPath and we do Mobility Mentoring® and we focus of the pillars of the Bridge that EMPath has. We’re really focused on family goals, wellness goals, mental health goals, career goals, reducing debts, increasing savings, and any other kind of goal that they want to work on.”
